I went to Purushwadi for the first time in 2016 along with an NGO for an offsite visit. Few years later, I got the opportunity to go back to my favourite village as a photographer to shoot Holi. To witness Holi being celebrated in a nice, quaint village in the remote valleys of Maharashtra was a very intimate and special experience. I loved playing around with the children, learning about local traditions and going on treks.
