Hello. I’m Rishabh. I am a writer, photographer, creative educator, motocyclist, coffee aficionado, reader, traveller, napper, vegan and walker!

I was born in a small town in the state of Haryana called Rewari.

I did my schooling in Noida and later moved to Mumbai for high school and college.

In Mithibai College, I pursued BA and I had Psychology, Sociology and Economics, all three subjects that I really enjoyed studying.

After my graduation, I worked as a Teach for India fellow for 2 years. During my fellowship,I had the opportunity to teach my students photography and storytelling, an experience I kept reminiscing about.

Post my fellowship, I worked for 3 years in the education space, first as a CSR professional in DMart and then as a storyboard artist in LEAD School, an edtech.

My life changed when I quit my job in June 2022 and decided to find my calling in a very Imtiaz Aliesque way. I spent 3 months solo motorcycling across Spiti, Zanskar and Ladakh. I volunteered for a month in a cafe, two months at a permaculture farm in Hyderabad and even spent 21 days pursuing yoga teacher training in South goa.

In 2023, I launched my first startup, Brew Renew where I repurposed spent coffee grounds from cafes to craft sustainable, natural and eco friendly products.

I shut it within 6 months to pursue a slow, creative life in the mountains. I moved to a small village near the paragliding town Bir to write full time.

After having spent enough time exploring and trying all my passions, I realised that my true passion was always creativity and education.

Currently, I’m a full time creative educator, writer and photographer. I am deeply committed to education, storytelling and creativity as tools for transformation. In the past 2 years, I have worked with organisations and creative individuals to craft immersive journeys, creative experiences and workshops.

My work as a writer and photographer revolves around themes of self-expression, solitude, and the quiet beauty of everyday life. I like to weave stories from daily life, both in writing and in visuals, that speak of the extraordinary in every ordinary moment.

As a creative educator, I facilitate spaces for people to express, reflect, and create. When I’m not designing creative workshops or going on long solo walks, you can find me riding my motorcycle, brewing coffee, or shooting photographs that inspire wonder for the beautiful planet.

I’m excited to design and facilitate creative workshops, experiences and products.

You can join my adventures on Substack, Instagram or YouTube or connect with me professionally on Linkedin.
